Promotion of culture and art in Latin America

María Mercedes Barrera, executive director of the Sura Foundation in Colombia, highlighted the importance of connecting organizations, promoting artistic creation and strengthening cultural work in Latin America. The aim is to exchange knowledge and strengthen the workforce to energize the sector.

Selected initiatives will receive up to $100,000 each, for a total of $1.5 million. The visibility of organizations will be promoted and spaces will be created for the exchange of knowledge and individual and group empowerment.

The proposals were evaluated by 26 independent juries, considering impact, identity, innovation and trajectory. The process included requirements verification, technical evaluations and final presentations.
